Lifetime Achievement Award

Honors a librarian who has rendered outstanding service to Indiana
libraries or media centers in their local community, throughout their
region, or the state. This award is intended for an individual who has served ILF for 15 years or more or has left the library profession.

Minimum Criteria:

-- Must have made substantial contributions such as, but not
limited to:
A. Partnerships: networking with others for the benefit of libraries
B. Voluntary service efforts
C. Expanded, new, and/or creative developments in library or media center services
D. Mentoring and outreach to other librarians

-- Must exhibit leadership and performance for a number of years

-- Three (3) to five (5) letters of support from a mix of the community

Miscellaneous

-- Indiana Library Federation membership not required (similar to the Citizen’s Award) and if they are retired they may not be a member

-- Award may be given posthumously

Additional Supporting Documentation (Optional)

-- No more than three (3) other forms of miscellaneous publications with explanation, as needed
