  Outstanding New Media Specialist Award
Honors a recent graduate who is making important contributions to his or her employing media center and librarianship at large. This award will be granted during a one (1) to five- (5) year period after the receipt of their degree. Minimum Criteria: -- Must be an Indiana Library Federation personal member for the year nominated -- Received their degree no more than five (5) years ago -- Must be working in a professional capacity -- Demonstrates a commitment to media services in his or her community or school -- Has to have made a substantial contribution in areas such as, but not limited to: A. Communications well with media center staff, administrators,
and the public -- Three (3) to five (5) letters of support from a mix of colleagues, the local library community, and system administration Additional Supporting Documention (Optional) -- No more than three (3) other forms of miscellaneous
publications with explanation, as needed
