You can earn LINK Recognition Points through participating in the following options:
Core requirements:
-Individual or institutional
membership in ILF (25 points)
-Attendance at Trustee Day at the ILF Annual
Conference
(25 points)
-Holding an ILTA office or an ILF office representing
ILTA
(25 points)
Elective
options:
-Attendance at an ILF
District Meeting or other conference
(10 points for full day)
-Attendance at an American Library Association
conference
(Annual, Midwinter, Division) (10 points for each full day
in attendance)
-Presenting
a program at an ILF conference or other event
(10 points)
-Service on an ILTA or ILF committee representing
ILTA
(5 points)
By participating in ILTA
continuting education offerings,
individual trustees accumulate points, which are added to
their records in the ILF office. They may also petition for
points in recognition of other board-related continuing
education or leadership. When they have accumulated
enough points, they are recognized at the ILF Annual
Conference and receive a lapel pin.
