Opportunities

Individual Recognition:
At the end of each calendar
year, participating trustees' files
are evaluated to determine if they qualify for recognition at
one of the levels:
Level
One: Recognized Trustee recognizes accumulation of
75 points through attendance and service, including at
least one core requirement.
Level
Two: Master Trustee requires 50 additional
points, including at least one more core requirement.
Level
Three:
Outstanding Trustee requires 50 points
above Level Two, including at least one more core
requirement.
Level
Four: Exemplary
Trustee requires 50 points above
Level Three, including at least one more core requirement.
Core requirements:
-Individual or institutional membership in ILF (25 points)
-Attendance at Trustee Day at the ILF Annual Conference
(25 points)
-Holding an ILTA office or an ILF office representing ILTA
(25 points)
Elective options:
-Attendance at an ILF District Meeting or other conference
(10 points for full day)
-Attendance at an American Library Association conference
(Annual, Midwinter, Division) (10 points for each full day
in attendance)
-Presenting a program at an ILF conference or other
event
(10 points)
-Service on an ILTA or ILF committee representing ILTA
(5 points)
