The Indiana Library Association (IALA), an association of the Indiana Library Federation (ILF), acts as the agent for the Indiana Chapter of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), a division of the American Library Association (ALA). IALA promotes academic library and information services in the state of Indiana, provides opportunities for discussion and exchange of ideas, encourages professional growth of academic librarians, and promotes the position of librarians in the academic world.
