ILF Reference Division 2008 Annual Conference

-- Finding Local and Family History in the Digital Age

Join your colleagues and learn new techniques for researching local history and genealogy. We'll hear how a library can support county history writing, and we'll get updates on exciting projects that digitize Hoosier history. The manager of ACPL's renowned Genealogy Center will show how to use online genealogy sites, and he will conduct a tour of the center's new facilities.

This conference will be of use to a broad audience - from public librarians to those who specialize in local history or genealogy to those looking toward digitization projects. Hear the expertise and experiences of public, state, and academic librarians!

And think about staying in Fort Wayne to experience some of the city's attractions, including the African/African American History Museum, the Allen County Courthouse, the Cathedral Museum, and the History Center.
