Strategic Visioning/Leadership Retreat Session on February 3
The ILF Executive Committee seeks participation from representatives from all types and sizes of libraries, all types of positions in libraries. Unfortunately, we are limited to 75 participants. ILF will provide many opportunities for input and feedback.
The ideal participant for the Feb. 3 visioning event:
•Is committed to ILF and to advancing Indiana’s Libraries for the future
•Knows his/her “unit” (association, division or district) well enough to speak for them. Has the interests and trust of their unit.
•Possesses a specific skill set, expertise or knowledge base important to the dialogue
•Participated in Leader Calls and/or watched recordings
•Will review pre-readings and questions
•Will fully participate on Feb. 3 (may be 9am-4pm, in Fishers)
•Will follow up email responses
All Associations, Committees, Divisions and Districts are asked to submit 1-3 names, or individuals may self-nominate. If interested, email Lucinda with “STRATEGIC VISIONING” in the subject line:
2.Contact info (phone and email)
3.Whether or not you are available for pre-reading, Feb. 3 and follow-up responses
4.Your representation, interest, skill set, expertise or knowledge base
5.Your personal goal for participating in ILF strategic visioning (i.e., personal growth or to learn for your own library; goal to represent a specific unit; goal to add, delete, maintain or change an ILF service; share information; challenge assumptions; plan for sustainability of ILF or for your library; shape the future; something else)
You may also nominate someone for ILF office to recruit to the event. We hope to finalize the list by early January.
