The Indiana Library Federation is the largest professional organization in the state for those who work in libraries. Your membership is extremely important! Here are just a few benefits of membership:
Advocacy for libraries and librarians. Ongoing work on issues of interest to libraries of all types, often "behind the scenes.” This is provided by the legislative advocates who have worked with ILF for 17 years, the legislative committee, and the legislative coordinators who help with communication.
Outstanding opportunities to network with colleagues, meet members of your peer group, share ideas.
Professional development -- many opportunities to obtain valuable LEUs and PGPs.
$50 off registration to attend ILF’s annual conference and a substantial reduction in registration fees to other ILF-related conferences, such as the district conferences, SAMS, Survivor, CYPD and marketing seminars.
Access to scholarships and eligibility for awards
The monthly e-newsletter, "Focus,” which keeps members apprised of topics of interest and the twice-yearly journal "Indiana Libraries.”
A dedicated office staff committed to excellence in serving members.
Eligibility to receive reduced rates for group health insurance for employees, directors and officers
