On October 22, 2012 the Friends of the Indiana Libraries merged with the ILF to form a new division.

The Friends of Indiana Libraries help fund special events, reading program, staff development day and other important activities in the lives of Indiana libraries! The FOIL has entered a pilot project with ILF for a membership drive, delivery of e-newsletters and the development of a one-day workshop ion Oct. 22, 2012. ILF is honored to be a part of FOIL and we will continue to develop the FOIL section on the website.
