Insurance & Benefit Committee

The purpose of the Insurance and Benefit Committee is to enhance the value of ILF membership by planning, developing and implementing a wide range of insurance and health benefits for members. Health insurance plans are negotiated by Richard Sutton on behalf of ILF institutional member libraries.

The chair of this committee shall be appointed by the ILF president. At this time, it is Cindy Wenz, Carmel Clay Public Library. Other officers on the commitee are Latrice Baxter, Winnie Price, Rob Fox, and Laurel Setser. Susan Akers, ILF executive director, ex-officio member. Other ex-officio members are the ILF treasurer, assitant treasurer, and ILF president. R.E. Sutton Insurance Agency has worked with the ILF for 13 years. An archival file of minutes, member roster and the annual report shall be maintained by the chair and passed on to the subsequent chair.
