Strategic planning is a critically important activity with a public library board of trustees. Nearly one-fourth of Indiana's libraries are required to submit a strategic or long-range plan by December 2018. This virtual exchange targets the libraries that are either overdue or due this year, and welcomes all who want a quick refresher on requirements.

During this exchange, we will discuss elements to start NOW, in preparation for a deep dive session at the IPLA Pre-Conference on Nov. 12, for a timely submission by 12/31. Our guest facilitators may include consultants Kim Bolan-Cullin, Rob Cullin and Robert Hoke, MCLS' Michelle Bradley, as well as Karen Ainslie from Indiana State Library.

On the morning of 8/23, slides and contact info is posted in a 6-to-a-page or full slide format. Additionally, pre-registered attendees will receive the slides directly via email.
