This is a Member Only event, though we are also extending to staff and volunteers of Public Library Institutional members via email sent to directors 5/31. If you forgot your login or password, just email us.

Many thanks to Diane Huerkamp, director of Mooresville Public Library, Kelly Currie, director of Delphi Public Library, and Harry Mohler of Mohler Architects, for sharing their approaches and sample technology, maintenance and capital improvement plans.

Capital Improvement Plans will be more important in the post-HEA1343 environment, as the provide a way to communicate with your board, fiscal body and taxpayers, as well as providing alignment with your long-range plan as submitted to ISL.

This virtual session continues a series of approximately bi-weekly sessions offered by ILF since January. We welcome you to participate.

What is a virtual exchange?  These facilitated sessions are designed to encourage member engagement with each other. A few experts will share their experience and then open up to question and answer, where participants share their own experiences as well. The information gleaned during the sessions guide ILF's support to members, development and sharing of tools and resources and advocacy efforts.

How does it work?  Usually on the morning of the session (or the Friday prior), registrants receive a LINK to open on their computer to view, listen, chat and speak with the presenters and participants. No or spotty internet? Connect via telephone number and passcode. The full sessions are usually not recorded to encourage open Q&A. The presentation portion is sometimes recorded and provided to to members. For example, this link includes the recording and documents for the sessions about Property Tax and Local Income Tax.
