During this COVID-19 global pandemic and school closures, Indiana's school librarians rose to the occasion to support faculty, students and parents.  Join our summer sessions (every other week through August) to share learnings and best practices about:

  • coaching fellow teachers on online learning, various softwares, electronic resources, instructional techniques, and general support;
  • discerning offers from vendors for "free" access during the crisis (how to recommend only what you will support; vetting for privacy);
  • keeping up with email and contact management while you support the entire school or multiple schools;
  • discovering crowdsourced documents for activities, lessons, author readings, author permissions, and more;
  • considering impacts on our vulnerable children, children with special needs, and children who are responsible for caring for siblings at home; and
  • supporting each other with heartfelt, funny, or oddball stories.

We WELCOME ALL school librarians and school library staff to these sessions. ILF membership is not required during this crisis. This is how we serve you.

Please use this link  to attend the Zoom meeting. If you will be joining by phone only, you will be emailed a number to call-in.
