Welcome to the Indiana Library Federation!

Our mission is to lead, educate, and advocate to advance library services for the benefit of Indiana residents.

Indiana Library Federation (ILF) is the statewide nonprofit organization of all library types: academic, public, school, special, and library supporters. It is the largest organization of its kind in Indiana, boasting more than 2,000 personal, institutional, library trustee, and business affiliate contributing members.

Members collaboratively work across sectors to accomplish ambitious goals through continuing education, public awareness campaigns, library advocacy, and special projects. Members enjoy access to member-only events, opportunities for leadership and recognition, discounts on professional development, and the sense of belonging within THE organization dedicated to advancing libraries for the future in Indiana.
