Understanding SEA410: Cash Calculations

Senate Enrolled Act 410, enacted in the 2020 session of the Indiana General Assembly, includes three components requested by ILF members. This session provides an overview of the law and focuses on the threshold calculation on the cash balance of total tax-supported funds as a percentage of budget based on certified numbers in Gateway. Language in SEA410 replaces some of the language from HEA1343 from the 2019 legislative session.

Indiana Library Federation (ILF) offers  professional development options for staff and volunteers in the Indiana library community. Sessions are usually offered live: see calendar. Session length varies with content and level of interactive discussion, which is usually not recorded. When marked with ILF members only, personal members may use login and password. Staff of institutional members may contact the office for access when noted. Library staff are responsible for requesting and keeping records of LEUs/TLEUs/PGPs. ILF seeks to increase the knowledge, skills, and confidence of online learning participants toward its strategic goals for exceptional staff.
