Helping Hoosiers: Part 4

Part 4: Part II with FSSA DFR Training Team
In response to the massive economic disruption resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, many Indiana libraries are, or will be, helping residents apply for unemployment and eligibility programs such as SNAP, TANF, and Healthcare. The Helping Hoosier series is aimed at helping library staff understand the resources and the most effective ways to help residents.

Indiana Library Federation (ILF) offers  professional development options for staff and volunteers in the Indiana library community. Sessions are usually offered live: see calendar. Session length varies with content and level of interactive discussion, which is usually not recorded. When marked with ILF members only, personal members may use login and password. Staff of institutional members may contact the office for access when noted. Library staff are responsible for requesting and keeping records of LEUs/TLEUs/PGPs. ILF seeks to increase the knowledge, skills, and confidence of online learning participants toward its strategic goals for exceptional staff.
