Coaching of Mask Wearing

Do you feel like you and your staff have become "mask compliance officers"? How do you provide excellent customer service and ensure safety of visitors and staff alike? The State requirement for facial coverings in public places was extended through Executive Order 20-43 until 10/17. Join this session where Katie Lorton, Deputy Director of Experience for Hamilton East Public Library leads through a training of strategies for staff to encourage proper mask wearing.

Indiana Library Federation (ILF) offers  professional development options for staff and volunteers in the Indiana library community. Sessions are usually offered live: see calendar. Session length varies with content and level of interactive discussion, which is usually not recorded. When marked with ILF members only, personal members may use login and password. Staff of institutional members may contact the office for access when noted. Library staff are responsible for requesting and keeping records of LEUs/TLEUs/PGPs. ILF seeks to increase the knowledge, skills, and confidence of online learning participants toward its strategic goals for exceptional staff.
