Thank you to all our 2019 volunteers!

Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of Indiana Library Federation (ILF).

  • Board members govern the organization.
  • Committee members make policy or program recommendations for board action and/or help carry out activities.
  • Affiliation advisory board members advise the board and staff on issues and needs specific to academic, school or public libraries or their trustees and supporters.
  • Division Leadership Team members advise staff on issues and help carry out activities for specific interest groups.
  • Other volunteers provide presentations and on-site support at conferences or help with special projects such as the school library census, adult literacy study, child supervised visits best practices and more.

Consider volunteering with ILF. Support the library community. Advance librarianship as a profession. Expand and share your knowledge and skills. Develop or exercise your leadership skills. Meet colleagues throughout the state and across library types, sizes and geography. Be a part of the future of Indiana's libraries. Fill out our volunteer form today!
