Indiana Library Federation offers a range of professional development opportunities to develop knowledge and skills and to network with others across the library community. Members receive substantial savings on registration fees.


2019 ILF Call for Programs

The Indiana Library Federation's 2019 Call for Programs is a combined form for our seven major professional development events throughout the year, including: regional conferences, Youth Services conference, and Annual Conference. An individual or group may submit sessions for one, a few, or all of these conferences through this form. ILF would like to invite our members, unit leaders, and external experts to submit topics specific to their interests. Please review Annual Conference Rubric before submitting your proposal.



2019 Regional Conferences – held in April 2019 at various locations

Registration Rates for ALL Regional Conferences are 

$45 for Members$55 for Non-members.

ILF regional conferences provide opportunities for library staff to increase their skills, network, and learn new innovations that will help make their jobs and work life easier.  We strive to offer learning opportunities for a wide range of skill levels and knowledge needs.

2019 Youth Services Conference - Aug. 25-26 in Carmel

The youth services conference boasts that it is THE conference for youth service librarians for children ages 0-18.  Hosting over 200 attendees in past years, we offer a great conference experience to learn in a fun and interactive environment.

2019 ILF Annual Conference - Nov. 3-5, Marriott East, Indianapolis

The Annual Conference attracts approximately 600-700 attendees from all types of libraries (school, academic, public, special) with a range of positions (director to circulation). It’s a two-day event full of learning opportunities, networking and growth with some pretty cool keynotes (November 4 and 5) with a pre-conference loaded with deep dives into pertinent content.
