Legislative and Administrative Advocacy is critical to achieving our mission to advance library services to benefit Indiana residents. Advocacy is one of the most important areas of our 5-year strategic vision.

 

Review our 2019 ILF Policy Priorities or abbreviated one-pager or simple one-page list.

 

Here are a few important links:

  • TAKE ACTION through our Engage Action Center for library advocacy. This tool makes it easy to contact elected officials. Use your home contact info to reach your legislators. Member libraries may contact the office for a list of legislators in their library service area. 
  • ILF Advocacy Updates - subscribe to receive these important updates.
  • Third House Calendar - ILF updates this calendar of Third House / Meet Your Legislator events throughout the state. Check out these photos from one held in Hamilton County in January.

 ILF Advocacy/Legislative Committee - This committee reviews and recommends policy and action to the ILF Board of Directors.
