Phases of Reopening Public Libraries

Indiana Library Federation (ILF) sincerely appreciates that public libraries are specified in  Back On Track Indiana Plan Stage 2  , and  Executive Order 20-26 , which gives Indiana’s public libraries the ability to phase in services according to local needs, staff capacity, and the community’s situation, beginning May 4, subject to other local and state guidance and local library policies. The Public Library Wi-FI Map, www.ilfonline.org/page/Wi-Fi-map illustrates one way of serving during the pandemic.

Below is an preliminary, working map for sharing among Indiana Public Libraries about current plans for phasing in services, as compiled by ILF.

"Curbside" may also include Grab-and-go or Pick-up service. Visit website or call for info.
"Open" usually means open for limited access (hours or restricted areas of building)
See notes for libraries offering "Document services" and "Appointment Only" which usually refers to help with Unemployment, SNAP, Health coverage, Job Search, and eGovernment assistance. Libraries listed as OPEN often have limited access or hours.
