Indiana Library Federation works with partners in response to emerging needs or to achieve our mission, vision, goals and objectives. Recent projects include:

  • Best Practice Guide For Supervised Visits in the Library (released 9/13/18), a product of facilitated conversations with ILF members, Indiana Department of Child Services and family service providers who work to reunify families affected by abuse and neglect;
  • 2018 Status Report on Indiana School Libraries (released 9/12/18), a point-in-time report about the staffing and features of Indiana school libraries (survey conducted January - May 2018);
  • Lawyers In Libraries Pilot during national pro bono week, the week of October 22, 2018, where 15 libraries hosted volunteers attorneys to meet with residents from two pro bono districts who had legal assistance needs;
  • Facilitated virtual exchanges about working with homeschoolers.
  •  2017 Adult Literacy Study for Indiana Department of Workforce Development (released 12/17); 
  • Hosting of Workforce Innovation Network employer feedback in 17 public libraries, in partnership with Indiana Department of Workforce Development; 
  • and so much more.
