The ILF Board of Directors is excited to announce these major updates to the staff:

Kyle Hickman Named Executive Director

At the January 29, 2024, meeting of the board, Kyle Hickman was approved as ILF’s Executive Director. Kyle served as the Interim Executive Director for the past 90 days, demonstrating the level of vision, organizational leadership, and member support that meets and exceeds the needs of ILF. “Kyle has shown a willingness to communicate and work with ILF’s members across the state. He brings a high standard of commitment and responsiveness to the organization that is wonderful to have on our team,” said Diane Rogers, ILF President.

Kyle is excited to step into this role. “It is truly my honor to serve this organization and its members across the state of Indiana. ILF is embarking on some bold and exciting endeavors, and I’m happy to be a part of the team moving forward,” said Kyle.

Caroline White Continues to Serve ILF

We’re happy to celebrate that Caroline White just hit her one-year mark as the Membership Engagement Specialist with ILF. She will continue to support the organization, primarily by managing ILF’s events/conferences, driving membership strategy, collaborating with exhibitors/sponsors, and meeting member needs. “I truly love my work, especially when it also fits a personal passion on so many levels,” said Caroline.

Marissa Beck Named Marketing and Communications Specialist

Recognizing a need for support in marketing and communications, ILF is proud to announce the addition of Marissa Beck to the team as the Marketing and Communications Specialist. Marissa will lead ILF and Indiana FREADOM to Read’s strategic communications efforts.

“Marissa will undoubtedly be an asset for ILF. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and her professional experiences lend well to ILF’s needs. I’m excited to see all the new ideas she’ll bring to the organization, its members, and partners,” said Kyle Hickman.

Marissa graduated in 2020 from the University of Indianapolis with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a focus in public relations, plus a minor in visual communication design. Since graduation, she has served in various communication and marketing professional roles supporting membership organizations. She is passionate about organizations that make a significant impact in communities. Marissa lives in Lebanon with her husband, two children, and their dog, Opal. In her spare time, she enjoys summer bonfires, camping, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
