Statehouse Day 2024

The Indiana Library Federation (ILF) Statehouse Day occurred Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Indiana librarians met throughout the day with legislators to advocate for the welfare of libraries. It costs $25 per person to register for this important experience. Learn more by clicking here

Be an Advocacy Insider

ILF works on behalf of all libraries, but if you want to be in the know, consider becoming a member today and you can access the following: 

  • Taft Reports & Bill Tracking List - members may access the "inside scoop" about statehouse happenings and bills that may affect Indiana's libraries through reports and a bill tracking list provided by Taft Communications, ILF's contracted legislative advocates.
  • Virtual Advocacy Updates - Bi-weekly updates to members via Zoom during each General Assembly session.
  • Advocacy Committee Minutes - members can read through recent ILF Advocacy Committee minutes to see what policy issues are being debated internally.
