The purpose of AISLE is to advise ILF leadership on school library issues and support the outreach, recruitment, and retention of school library-affiliated members in ILF.
The Association of Indiana School Library Educators (AISLE) is an affiliation of the Indiana Library Federation. AISLE's mission is to promote school library media centers in Indiana and foster the professional growth of its members. AISLE members most often participate in the Young Hoosier Book Award program, Eliot Rosewater Book Award program, Read Aloud Indiana program, as well as awards, scholarships and professional development activities for members.
Keep an eye out for our bi-monthly AISLE Chats to connect and discuss timely, relevant topics. Updates on those will come on the AISLE Listserv. Subscribe to the AISLE Listserv here: https://lists.library.in.gov/mailman/listinfo/aisle
