2026-2028 Events

The 2026 Statehouse Day will occur on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.  

The next 2 Youth Services Conference will occur on these dates:

• March 22-23, 2026
• March 21-22, 2027

We will host 2 in-person Regional Conferences next year in the northern & southern parts of the state, and will offer a virtual Regional Conference option. Current dates & locations include: 

• Friday, April 17, 2026 - The Floyd County Public Library (New Albany, IN)
• Friday, May 15, 2026 - St. Joseph County Public Library (South Bend, IN)
• Friday, May 29, 2026 - Virtual Regional Conference (via Zoom)

The Budget Workshop will occur on Friday, July 10 at Anderson Public Library in Anderson, IN. 60 seats will be available with member and non-member pricing. 

Due to a 2026-2027 grant received from the Herbert Simon Family Foundation, we will be offering 4 in-person library trustee/school administrator advocacy trainings over the next two years. Those 1-day trainings will be offered on these dates (more details to come):

• Saturday, September 19, 2026 - Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library
• Sunday, September 27, 2026 - St. Joe County Public Library
• Monday, November 9, 2026 - Indianapolis during Annual Conference
• Monday, November 15, 2027 - Indianapolis during Annual Conference

The next 3 Annual Conferences will occur on these dates at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis:

• November 8-10, 2026
• November 14-16, 2027
• November 12-14, 2028
