
The 2026 Statehouse Day will occur on Tuesday, February 3, 2026--and it's receiving a makeover. We will meet with our legislators, promote Indiana libraries, share our library story, and speak about ILF's legislative priorities.
This year you will be asked to make appointments with your legislators (those that represent both your library district and where you live) using the guide linked below generated by our lobbyists from Taft Public Affairs. Making your own appointments empowers you to connect with your legislator personally and helps to establish a relationship that can aid you and your library in the future. If you have any problems making those appointments, please reach out to Chris Bandy at Taft by email. More information about the day will be forthcoming and any other training or guidelines will be conveyed to you before February 3rd.

ILF Cancellation Policy
Below are the cancellation refund timelines. Full refunds outside of the timelines listed below are subject to refund on a case-by-case situation. ILF completely understands that life happens and things are often out of our control, so we will always do what we can to work with you. These policies help us ensure we are financially responsible with our event programming as the possibility of these events depend on your event participation and support. Registration cancellation refund requests made before or on December 25th are refunded in full.
Registration cancellation refund requests between December 26th - January 23rd are refunded at 50% of the total registration cost. Unpaid invoices are still expected to be paid upon cancellation.
Registration cancellation refund requests after January 23rd are not subject to refund. If you are experiencing an emergency situation, please email us and we will work with you.
If you would like to transfer a registration to another person, please email us. Registration transfers are permitted throughout the entire registration period. Registration transfer requests after January 23rd are not guaranteed.
